Spacoast Quilt Guild
Approximately 150 members, devoted to the art of quilting. We are deeply involved in charitable work for our community, i.e upward of 250 baby quilts each year to the Sheriff's Dept., crisis pregnancy centers, Parrish Medical Center, and a donation quilt to other non-profit organizations such as American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Foundation, Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, etc for their fund raisers. Other requests for a quilt are considered and voted on by members. A bi-ennial quilt show is put on at Brevard Community College. Quilts, wall hangings, boutique, silent auction, Christmas corner, vendors, food and door prizes. Next show is March 9-10 2007, Quilting from the Heart VIII.
